Mary Melton -- On & Off the Field / Celebrating 25 Years of Service

Mary Melton was recently recognized for her 25 Years of service at Trade Service Trimble. At Trade Service, we applauded her many years of diligent work as Sr. Account Manager, assisting contractors and distributors in the Plumbing & Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive and Office Products industries. At this writing, Mary shows no signs of slowing down.

Meanwhile, for the same 25 years, Mary has been serving her community as a leader of Mission Bay Youth Baseball.

On February 26, 2019, Mary was honored with the naming of a field in her name, at Bob McEvoy Field, in Mission Bay, San Diego, California. For 25 years, Mary has served as Board President. She has been highly instrumental in making it possible for over 3,000 youth in the community to play ball. Not to mention making sure that each of those 3,000 youngsters received their trophy with the correct engraved name and position. That in itself, was a major accomplishment.

In her role as Board President, Mary has fostered a love for baseball while instilling the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and integrity to the parents as well as the youth!  She kept score, reached out for League sponsors, worked in the snack bar, worked with the City, mediated, counseled, basically did whatever needed to be done.  She never complained nor sought recognition for her efforts. She deserves — and gets — many thanks from the parents and players.

At Trade Service Trimble we too are proud and grateful to have Mary Melton on our team.
